There are 3 central elementary schools and 5 satellite schools in the Municipality of Ilinden, with a total number of 1.900 pupils and students.

In 2005 the Municipality established the „Cultural-Education Center Ilinden“, this Center gives the possibility for free lessons in foreign languages (English, German, Spanish and Italian) also for guitar and art. In 2009 there will be new lessons included, modern ballet and traditional folklore.
More than 500 pupils use the Center for free furthermore education.
The project is financed by the Municipality and is unique in the Republic of Macedonia.
