Infrastructure

The main roads M-1, M-3 and M-4 from the international highways: Corridor 10 (E-75) north-south and Corridor 8 (E-65) east-west are passing through the Municipality in a total length of 30 km. It is the main crossroad for the main connections Skopje-Kumanovo, Skopje-Veles and Kumanovo-Veles.

The main railway line Belgrade-Skpoje-Athens also passes through the Municipality in a total length of 18 km. There are two train stations on the territory of Ilinden Municipality. The “Ilinden” train station which is located in Ilinden locality and the “Miladinovci” train station which is located in Miladinovci. These train stations are connecting the Ilinden Municipality with the railway corridor 10: Athens-Belgrade-Budapest.
There is a public transport to all localities in the Municipality and is connecting it with the Skopje city center through the local buses no. 63 and 66.

The International Airport “Alexander the Great”  is also located on the territory of Ilinden Municipality.
